Suggest Treatment For Itching Sensation All Over The Body

I have been suffering for over two weeks with itchy skin, it started on my shoulder and is now under arm pits, my sides, stomach etc. I have been so itchy especially at night I cannot stay asleep because of it, now I have little sores that look like bites. I have tried about 20 different over the counter products ranging from hydrocortisone creams, anti itch meds, tea tree oil compresses, apple cider vinegar and sarna lotion. I don t get relief for more than half hour at night. It isn t as itchy in the day. I have 4 dogs one of which has a rash and she itches constantly. We sleep with our dogs in the bed and they are well cared for, no fleas etc. I believe what i m suffering from is scabies, what do you think

Hello,

I know it must be very annoying to keep scratching and losing your good night sleep. From your description, it seems scabies rash only and it is not because of your pet. Dog's mite cannot thrive on human body.

Apply 5% Permethrin lotion, neck down at night time, washed it off in morning time, and repeat after 7 days. Take tablet Benadryl at night time and also, apply Atarax anti-itch lotion 2 to 3 times per day.

Wash all your clothes and bedding with bleach and hot water. Sexual partner should also be treated the same way.
