Suggest Treatment For Itchy Black Rash On Scalp

Hi,I had a bump on my scalp that formed into a itchy black rashlike form. It is spreading throughout my head and now i have one above my left eye. It always itches and makes my scalp really sore sometimes. I ve tried everything to get rid of it but it won t go away. Is this some type of fungus or could it be worse? I ve had it for so long because i can t see a doctor because of no insurance. Please help me. Thank you.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed fungal infection.
Your description matches with that.
Usually fungal infections are itchy and recurrent.
Please get a KOH mount done,
This can confirm the fungal etiology.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Treatment must be continued for at least a month to prevent recurrance.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
