Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps At The Genitals And Itching Inside The Vagina In A Young Adult
I am a teenager. I was sexually active frequently about a month ago with protection. I am not active frequently anymore, but for the past month I’ve had uti symptoms and itchiness inside my vagina. There are flesh colored bumps where it is itchy towards the opening to my vagina but I’m not sure if those are normally there.
Take serious care of your hygiene. Avoid sexual activity for about two days or so. Do not douche your vagina and do not use sex toys for self-pleasure. Excessive shaving of the genital area may cause bumps. Be gentle with yourself. To get relief, you can apply ointment hydrocortisone to the area affected to get rid of itching. Wear soft cotton clothes and avoid wearing ornament in the clitoris.
Since you are sexually active, get STD tests done if positive you will be treated with antivirals and antibiotics. You can take a course of doxycycline. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist to detect fungal infection, etc. You may need anti-fungal if detected.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
