Suggest Treatment For Itchy Hemorrhoids

Dear Doctor, I got a hemorrhoid (external) few days ago and I consulted a Doctor. He prescribed Procto-Glyvinol cream. Now its been 4 days however the hemorrhoid is still there. There is no pain or bleeding but I feel an itching. Usually how long do I have to apply the cream?

Dear; usually you may need to use it for 7-10 days. If still symptomatic, I would advise to use glycerin suppositories and warm bath.
