Suggest Treatment For Itchy Painful Sores On The Head
I get these sores on my head for no reason and they itch and hurt so bad I cry and they drain this clear sticky fluid and then turn into a patch of hard white/yellow stuff that itches. I can t brush my hair often when it s flaring up because it is so painful. I scratch it in my sleep and then the leaking gets worse, to the point where I have to tape my finger tips each night. It takes at least 2 weeks for the sores to heal and then it happens all over again...
Most probably you may be having scalp prurigo with secondary bacterial infection. There may be pruriginous papulovesicular eruptions on scalp with intense desire to scratch. Psychological upsets might exacerbate the disease. Secondary bacterial infection may follow leading to crusted lesions with hairs stickiness. Pain and discomfort may be there. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Blood tests may be required to rule out HIV,DM,anaemia and other internal diseases.
I would like to suggest...
- antibiotics - antihistaminics - steroid in tappering dose - cleansing the scalp with savlone liq
I hope this would help you.
Thanks.
