Hello, I m 19 years old, and a female. I had pimples on my face a year back and I went through sitting for 11 sessions. I was on isotretenoin during that session which lasted for a month. My skin became bright shiny good and clear. However now after so many months I m getting breakouts on my skin. It s not severe acne but a itchy patch on my forehead which isint going since months. Also the pimples that were there during my session has come out as white heads. One of my friends told me that it will turn into blackhead soon. So I went to the doctor and she s given me femicinol- a gel with sisla face wash to use along with a medicine frm her clinic. Is it appropriate treatment ? I ve been tired for months don t know what is happening.
hi, thank you for putting up your query on HCM. as per your history, you have acne vulgaris. my treatment advise would be: 1. you may continue using your medications as it will be effective over a period of 2-3 wks. 2. do not worry much, as stress may also aggravate acne. 3. do not apply any cream, oil, scented soap on your face. 4. wash your face 3-4 times a day. 5. do not bleach, facial massage. 6. if persistent, you may consult your dermatologist for oral antibiotics if needed. 7. also, you may go for chemical peels like salicylic acid peel after consulting your dermatologist. wishing you healthy skin thank you
