Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Spots On The Back, Neck And Chest

I have about 30 itchy red spots on my back, neck and chest. The bumps started out looking like mosquito bites with just a itchy bump. They have all since turned dark red and are about 1cm round. Its been about 3days. I am having muscle stiffness in my back and neck with a really bad headache.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having either papular urticaria or allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using any new products like soap, perfume and wear full sleeve clothes.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on affected skin.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
