Suggest Treatment For Itchy Skin

My father is suffering from skin itching since 4 years. Many doctors tried treating it but nothing is working out. Infact it is getting worse.please suggest some medicines or the treatment needed to do the same.In winter and summer itching increases. Also please let me know what precautions should we take to keep it under control. Medicines adviced- Incidal tab Amlosafe B P25. Teczine 5mg, Zoray sunscreen lotion spf 30

your father is most probably suffering from senile Xerosis. follow these guidelines to improve skin condition
Self-Care Guidelines-
Take a bath or shower only once daily. More frequent bathing can make the skin lose water (dehydrate).
Use lukewarm (not hot) water.
Limit bath time to 15 minutes.
Avoid harsh deodorant soaps,Use non-soap cleansers.
Pat (don't rub) the skin dry after bathing.
Apply moisturizer immediately after bathing, while the skin is still moist.
