Suggest Treatment For Itchy Small Bumps On The Penis Shaft

I have been facing seviere itching around the shaft of my penis and some small bumps of white colours like small pimples i feel very very itchy on these small pimples like layer around my penis and the skin covering penis is also very itching please provide some tube available for this in india

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggest that you might be having fungal infection (Tinea) in the region around shaft of penis.

Management includes:
1. Keeping the area dry & avoid too much exposure to water or sweat formation.
2. Antihistamine preparations like cetirizine to reduce the itching sensation & provide symptomatic relief.
3. Application of topical antifungal cream like Clotrimazole to tackle the causative organism.

If symptoms still persist or aggravate further, then it will be better to consult a Dermatologist & get a proper examination done to find out the actual cause.
So that appropriate management steps could be taken.

Also avoid wearing tight undergarments & trousers...as it will cause sweating & predispose to fungal infections.
