Suggest Treatment For Jock Itch

I have had jock itch for the last 3 weeks or so. I have been using lotrimin ultra. It has helped a little bit, but not much. The rash keeps spreading to other parts of my body now, and not sure what to do. I first noticed the rash/itchyness after I started working out at the gym and wearing sweaty clothes/underwear consistently. Please advise

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed fungal infection.
Jocks itch is a type of that.
Usually fungal infections are itchy and recurrent.
Please get a KOH mount done,
This can confirm the fungal etiology.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Treatment must be continued for at least a month to prevent recurrance.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
