Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had surgery for my knee for what i first thought was a dislocation, but further thinking about it and the damage caused it was more like a knee hyperextension sheering off bone and cartalidge. I know have pain and I am not sure what i can do for it, my doctor was an arrogant person who wouldn;t listen to me....
You should know that persistent pain in this region is a sign of inflammation or an unsuccessful surgery. For this reason, I recommend performing a new knee joint MRI and inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
