Hello, I have been in physical therapy for two months now (my second set of physical therapy in the past year). I have been having patellafemoral pain as a result of a patella tracking disorder aggravated my a military deployment. My knee specialist has blamed the pain on me being a 24 year old female with flat feet. However, my physical therapist blames my bowed legs which are only really clear when I am bending my knees. While physical therapy has helped me strengthen my inner thigh muscles, hip flexors, and abs, will my knees return to military standard again if the bowed legs aren t fixed? And, if not, is my only option at my age to fix my bowed legs surgery? Thank you for your time.
