Suggest Treatment For Knot On Forehead Above The Eye

my friend has a knot on her far head above her left eye about the middle of her far head. It doesn t bother her she said but I worry that it maybe cancer. I asked her to get it checked but she keeps putting it off. When I press it she said it doesn t bother her. Is there any thing you can tell me to check for. She doesn t want to leave a scar if it has to be cut off. Please help me if you can

Hi.
As per your case history your friend may be having a Lipoma or sebaceous cyst.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. There is no need for treatment if it is not bothering her
3. Only cure is excision. Minimal scar will be left if stich is taken by dermato-surgeon or plastic surgeon using thin sutures.

Thanks.
