General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to an infection of the tongue.
I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation.
I also suggest using a throat spray for antibacterial properties and gargle with salty water.
I recommend to drink liquids and rest.
If the symptoms continue for more than two weeks, you can see an ENT specialist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
