ive been off work now for 8 weeks with dizziness, the doctors think it is labyrinthiitis, ive had a ct scan which showed no tumours etc, im getting a couple of good days and then a couple of dizzy days, i also get a shaky feeling (like nerves) inside and have a pain between my shoulder blases and a tightness in my upper arms?
Labirynthitis is an inflammation of the inner ear. I suggest to take over-the-counter antihistamines to ease some of the symptoms of viral labyrinthitis, such as nausea or dizziness. Stronger antihistamines, such as meclizine or promethazine, are available on prescription. I also suggest to avoid consuming too much salt.
