Women who have not yet been pregnant usually find it a little difficult to master fetal movements and it takes usually long for them to start feeling it. However, by 26weeks all women who have never been pregnant before must have started feeling fetal movements.
So, there are two possibilities; either your pregnancy age is not exact (far less than 26 weeks) or there is a problem with the fetus.
Ultrasound is an appropriate exam to do, which well assess fetal well being as well as the gestational age of the fetus.
Absent fetal movements is associated with fetal distress or fetal compromise.
