Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Treatments for this condition include:

-anti-seizure medication(as he has been receiving). Prednisone improves seizures and language skills.

-A relatively new surgical approach is called, "Multiple Subpial Transections."

The (pediatric)neurosurgeon makes many small cuts into the brain's outer layer. This has helped a small number of children and is under evaluation.

-Speech therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
