I have persistent pain in my left breast, especially painful when I lay down to sleep or on my side . I am a 56 year old female who gets yearly mammograms and see my GYN yearly too. They did an ultra sound and all was clear. I have felt for lumps and do not feel or see any physical changes. The pain is on the inner bottom side closest to the heart area. I also exercise and take tropical estrogen gel (0.1 gel on upper thigh) thank you.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the breast with a normal mammogram can be a tissue pain due to the hormonal changes at your age. Starting natural postmenopusal supplements can help. I hope this information has been helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal .
