Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
18 y/o female, 5 feet 5 inches, 135 pounds. I can t move my knee all of a sudden! I was lying in my bed doing homework on my laptop (that s how I can ask this question) and moved my leg a weird way (it was bent) and now I can t open it. It feels like it s caught and it s really painful if I try to move it. I remember this happening a couple times when I was little, but don t remember how it got fixed. What do I do? it s been like this for about ten minutes.
This is normal after immobilizing leg for a while continuously. Just keep relaxing and move the legs for every 10-15 min minutes for a while during work. This will almost reduces your problem to zero.
Get Hb% and Vitamin D levels checked through a blood test. If less get the supplement after consulting a local physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Phanindra Dulipala
