Suggest Treatment For Little Bleeding From Ear

i was sleeping and my friend was joking around and pushed a bobby pin into my ear and now my hearing is a little muffled and its bleeding a little bit. I tried to blow my nose and it helped clear my hearing a little bit. It feels like there is thick water in my ear and its a little uncomfortable. Do you know what i should do or whats happening?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of injury to your ear by the bobby pin inadvertenly by your friend followed by muffled hearing, feeling of thick water in the ear, feeling uncomfortable and bleeding.

The causes are:
the injury must have perforated your ear drum causing bleeding, clot causing muffled sound and feeling of water in ear and being uncomfortable.

I would advise you the following:
First of all stop blowing hte nose as you will push the nasopharyngeal discharge in the middle ear.
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination, suctioning of the blood and clot to clear the ear.
Get started on appropriate antibiotics, decongestants and anti-inflammatory medicines for early healing of the injury that must have been caused.
Do not instill anything in the ear.
Complete the course as almost all the perforations and injury heal very well.
Have weekly review and proper care.
