Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has a liver hemangioma....it was found in 2003 to be about 1.5 cm in size. He had an ultrasound a few days ago and it showed that it has increased in size to about 5.3 cm. We will be seeing a specialist...what will the options for treatment be? Or will they just continue to check it for growth in the future?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Hemangioma is the most common benign tumour of liver. You should regularly check the size of your liver hemangioma and liver function test.
Ultimate and inly treatment is surgical removal.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
