Suggest Treatment For Loose Motion, Stomach Pain And Vomiting
on 16 year old boy having loose motion, stomach pain, somtimes womiting for the past two days and not able to take food due to uncomfortable to eatdue to pain, in Korba west chhattisgarh. What shall we do for best treatment in korba? where should go for better treatment?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Since the loose motions, stomach pains and vomiting is present for 2 days in a 16 year old boy, it is most probably due to Gastroenteritis. I would advise you to take him to the nearby hospital for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of the blood, stool and urine. Get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics. If the vomiting does not stop with PPI like Omeprazole and Domperidone, he will need to be admitted for intravenous fluid and electrolyte replacement. Get a proper care about the boiled and cooled water and homemade food only once the vomiting stops. See for the urinary output that has to be well maintained.
