Hi,
Few more points I would like to know-
1. Whether this started following introduction of any particular food item in their diet?
2. Approximate frequency of stools in a day?
3. Whether stools are bloody or mucus containing?
4. Are the having fever?
Possibilities are gastro-
enteritis or milk
protein allergy. In some babies, this may even be a normal transient phenomenon. If no fever and bloody stools, in such cases i used to give a course of zinc supplementation and probiotics to see the response and further workup accordingly. Meanwhile, to reduce the
rash, keep the area as dry as possible, air drying during day time and application of emolients like EziNapi 3-4 times a day.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
