my daughter age 12, weight 36 kg is suffering from loose motion for last 3 weeks. It has improved twice with anti biotics but recurred. what can be the reason? why diagnostic tests are suggested? what can be the reason and treatment?

Hi,
It seems that she might be having some mixed infection, bacterial and amebic.
In this case only antibiotic medicine is not enough.
Go for one course of Oflox-Tinidazole combination for 5 days.
Givne her light diet like curd, rice and buttermilk.
Ok and take care.
