Suggest Treatment For Loose Motions In Pulmonary Fibrosis Patient
my mother is 81 years old,suffering from pulmonary fibrosis,she is on oxygen but main discomfort is she has lost control of urine and stool. she ask for bed pan every 1 or 2 hours.recently she is suffering from loose motions.motions are watery and sticky.please guide for loose motions
pulmonary fibrosis patients may be on steroids or immune suppressors may cause opertunistiv infections like giardia salmonella, shigella, clostridium, cytomegalovirus infection etc.please get stool examination is done. use rifaximin thrice a day for five days with tab.ornidazole twice a day for five days. if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
