Suggest Treatment For Loose Socket Of The Arm After Multiple Surgeries

I had shoulder surgery because my arm was loose in the socket after several shoulder dislocations. An xray 4 weeks after surgery showed my shoulder was still hanging out of soccket. They placed anchors in my shoulder which I assumed was to tighten the joint up to prevent anymore dislocations. The surgeon told me this was fine and the surgery was not intended to tighten this up. He said therapy would take care of this, which it has not done. It is now 5 months after surgery and their have been no improvements. Is this to be expected? My shoulder looks to be more loose after surgery than before. This is actually my second surgery and nothing has changed.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Considering your case I think you are suffering from recurrent shoulder dislocation and has undergone two surgery for that. We have to find the cause for recurrent shoulder dislocation which may be 1. Bankart lesion which is tear in soft tissue sleeve holding shoulder joint. 2. Bony defect in Glenoid cavity. For finding exact cause MRI of shoulder before surgery is must. Was this done? If there is bankart lesion repair is done with suture anchor and if there is bony defect it should be filled with bone. So I would advise fresh MRI to find the so current status of soft tissues and visit expert arthroscopic surgeon with report. Improvement after surgery is expected after surgery if cause for recurrent dislocation is addressed and rectified.
