Hello welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns. Diabetes in Longterm will lead to kidney, heart and eyes complications. Most probably you have Diabetic nephropathy (kidney damage due to diabetes) The symptoms you have described might be due to kidney damage or a temporary damage due to infection or dehydration.
My advice to you is -
1. Go for your urine routine report, CBC and blood urea report and show it to your doctor. He will guide you further if you have any infection or dehydration.
2.Drink plenty of water daily. Avoid excessive salt, high protein diet, coconut water and excessive fruit consumption as they can raise potassium levels in your body which is not good for heart.
3.Strict control of blood sugar will prevent further damage to kidney. Go for FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly for adequate sugar control.
4.Meet your doctor for medicines regarding decrease appetite, follow my advice and repeat kidney profile every 3 monthly. Thank you. Have a nice day.
