Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Facial Hair In Beard Area
I am suffering from alopecia areata from over three yrs now. the hair loss is happening in my beard and it has now spread to both sides of my beard with patches as big as 3-4 inches in diameter. I have tried different medicines in the past including a course of homeopathic medicine & injections as well. But the regrowth never happened. the only time the loss got somewhat reduced was during the time I was given injections on the infected area.
Req you to pls let know whether I can get my facial hair back & what are the sure shot ways for the same & pls suggest the one which is not time consuming as I've already endured enough.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the most likely condition could be fungal infection although it is the clinical condition that confirmed the diagnosis, on practical basis I could say that it could be fungal infection because it is pretty common condition I have seen I always to my patient those comes to me with this condition of loosing the hair of beard. selenium shampoo can be tried on area where hair is not growing, other medicines than this may not be useful If the selenium fails to responds then it is better to see the dermatologist hope this information helps.
