Suggest Treatment For Low Grade Fever And Pain Caused By Injury

On Friday I had a partial hysterectomy (LAVH/BS). Yesterday I was knocked down to the ground by our 40 lb dog. I ve been in more pain [7 of 10] since & I ve also been running a low grade fever [100-101]. Do I need to notify my Dr immediately or can it wait until Monday when my Dr s office I d open?

Hello dear,

Thank you for your contact to health care magic.

I read and understand your concern.

I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.

No, it is better that you should meet the doctor at earliest.

Fever in you is suggestive of the infection. Once treated it will cleat your fever.

I advice you to get check for the focus of infection. Once the focus is detected your doctor can be in a position to treat it.

If you do late in treatment the infection can be spread and can cause septicemia which is worst condition to get treated.

I will be happy to answer your further concern on bit.ly/DrArun.

Thank you,
Dr Arun Tank
