Suggest Treatment For Low Grade Fever , Nausea , Ear Pain And Sore Throat

My son has clammy hands. He has a headache and gets really hot but temp never goes above 97.5. He is very nauseated. We have been to the er and family doctor. They ran ekg, normal checked urine and pricked finger. All they could come up with is stomach virus. He is going on day 5. He has periods when he feels better and then all of sudden it hits him and he has to get back in bed. He has also been dizzy but is not felling that right now. Do you have any idea of what could causing this and or how to treat it?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of low grade fever , nausea , ear pain and sore throat which seems to be due to viral infection. Low grade fever is because your immunity is lower down because of infection. Antibiotics will not give much relief to you as yours symptoms are more like viral infection. You should take paracetamol to prevent fever and combination of decongestants and multivitamin tablet.
Your symptoms will resolve in 5-7 days. Avoid touching eyes, nose again and again. If your symptoms keeps on persisting the visit physician and get vaccination done.
