Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife of 17 years and I have had regular sex for all these years, but with gradually decreasing regularity at her request. Then suddenly a couple of months ago, she suddenly said that she wants to have no more sex ever, that she doesn't enjoy sex anymore. I haven't had sex since September and I really still haven't gotten my head around the fact that she wants no more sex -- which means I'll never be able to enjoy sex ever again -- unless I find it outside the marriage. How should I handle the reality that men tend to be sexually stimulated for more of our life than women?
This is a common condition with females and is usually treatable
You need to seek a gynaecologist. Few possibilities may be Dyspareunia (painful spasm of vagina during intercourse), to start with, which she was trying to tolerate initially, but subsequently was not.
Secondly, it may be a consequence of some longstanding relationship problems between you two, or between your family members. If so, you need to look at it
Do you indulge is sexual intercourse under alcohol influence, if so, avoid it
Spending more time in quality foreplay before penetration may be a general tip
Hello I am Dr Aamir and i will be answering your query. See there is no medicine to increase sex drive in women. You should talk with her and take her to a psychiatrist for counselling.May be she anxious or having some stress. Do a fore play before actually doing it.Most men ignore this part but its very important.
