Suggest Treatment For Lower Lip Irritation

The inside of my lower lip has been irritated for the past 6 weeks ... I ve changed to a mild toothpaste without whiteners hoping that was the problem ... there is NO change. What other things could cause the irritation? The upper lip and inside my mouth and tongue are NOT irritated.

Hi.
As per your case history of irritation on lower lip.
My treatment advice is -
1. Use a mild tooth paste without added flavor.
2. Apply a Metrogyl-DG gel twice daily on affected part.
3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are topical steroid, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
