Suggest Treatment For Lump At Injection Site After A Meth Shot
I shot up meth about 5 days ago and no I have a lump at the I injection site. It doesn't hurt or anything, but the lump has not gotten any smaller and doesn't seem to be getting any better. It doesn't hurt and its not red, but I am afraid it is an abcess. What should I do

You might have developed thrombophlebitis.
It is an inflammation of veins.
Probably this inflammation is leading to fibrosis.
Thus a lump has formed.

Hi,
I can understand your concern for lump at injection site after a meth shot.
In my view correlating with the facts you have provided it is a simple cystic swelling due to collection of blood so do not worry about any serious possibility in the same.
I suggest you to not to touch or pinch and pop the area otherwise it can get infected. It may take few weeks of period of time to get better so have patience. You can take a anti-inflammatory drug such as paracetamol or diclofenac for few days.
