Suggest Treatment For Lump In My Nose

Hi, I m 49 years and will be 50 in 2 months. I am 5 5 and about 260 pounds. I ve had 2 surgeries in the past in 2002 I had a partial hysterectomy in which a large fibroid was removed. In that same year I also had my gall bladder removed because a stone was blocking the entrance passage of my gall bladder which was causing me to vomit alot. My concern right now is that when I feel the side of my nose near the nasal passage, one side feels higher or lumpy than the other. Should that be a cause for concern?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a nasal polyp. INasal polyp treatment usually starts with drugs, which can make even large polyps shrink or disappear. Drug treatments may include nasal cortico-steroids. If the symptoms continue, surgery is an option of treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
