Suggest Treatment For Lump On Butt Cheeks

I have a large lump on the lower right butt cheek close to my vagina. It hurts to sit but now there is a smelly brown looking fluid coming out. Will it go away on its own and or should I go see the doctor? Are there any home remedies that would help heal it. I have been soaking in the tub and air drying it also

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

The lump is most like due to bacterial infection of the skin and soft tissue and it seems like a furuncle/boil to me, the infection usually gaining entry through the hair follicle.
If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to take a week of an oral antibiotics. My choice of oral antibacterial would have been either flucloxacillin or cephalexin.
An OTC oral anti-inflammatory e.g ibuprofen, twice or thrice daily will provide you symptomatic relief from pain and swelling.
Topically you may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% mupirocin ointment,. twice daily.

Regards
