i noticed this lump on my right collarbone, where it connects to the breast bone. it started about 4 yrs ago when i heard it "popped" one morning, and its been bothering me since then. i was told to take pain meds and muscle relaxant with no effect. both my FP and PT told me its just scar tissue and nothing can be done. the lump is getting bigger. i have increasing difficulty with my right shoulder and rotator cuff (??? spelling?). i cannot sleep on my right side without feeling pain. so i had to turn to my leftside at night. now my left side starts to bother lately. please help. i would like to get a second opinion with a specialist. my rheumatologist told me "it's nothing". i live in toronto. can you help me find the right doctor please??? i'm getting frustrated as nobody seemed to understand my pains...
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have lump near collar bone. You should go for x ray of that area. If it is not from bony origin then it could be some enlarged lymphnode or soft tissue tumor. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
