My mother is going to be 90 next month and was just informed she has lung cancer. Numerous people have told me cannibus is great for people suffering from cancer. My concern is that she also has copd and chf. The dr s told her no surgery or radiation. I would like her to be as comfortable as possible. Is canibus a possible alternative. Thank you, Stan.
According to the literature there are not any evidence to show the efectiveness of cannibus use in lung cancer treatment. Given that i would not recommend it
I am sorry for your mother. Given the fact that your mother suffers from copd and chf shows me that her performance does not allow the surgery or radiation. It will be the same for chemotherapy i guess. But it is the specialist (oncologist ) that decide for the right treatment of this case and i recommend you to consult him/her several time. About canibus (you mean cannabis??) there are no scientific data to prove its role in the treatment of lung cancer so i do not recommend it. Best regards. Dr.Jolanda Pulmonologist
