Dear stroke and bed ridden patient more prone to develop

1.aspiration which leads to pneumonia :raise head end elevation above 30-45 degrees from ground, take chest xray and if signs of pneumonia treat as early as possible.
2.bed sore :change position frequently, add powder to dependent area, change water bed.
3.prone to deep vein thrombosis some time it may lead pulmonary embolism, so periodic calf compression, use low molecular weight heparin under doctor guidence.
