Suggest Treatment For Macular Degeneration Of The Eye

I just went to the eye doctor today for glasses, I thought. She said vision in right eye is 20/40 left eye is 20/50 and also fluid in the retina. She referred me to a higher up in the eye world and also she ask if I had heard of macular degeneration. Could this be possible. I am 72 and my eyes have changed over the last year.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.

It seems from the history that you are diagnosed with macular degeneration.
This requires evaluation by a retina specialist to look for type of macular degeneration and its severity.
You need to undergo investigations like fundus fluorescein angiography to find out this and plan for treatment.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist preferably a retina specialist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
