Suggest Treatment For Malignant Melanoma In The Eye
Family member first diagnosed left Eye metastatic melanoma causing a detached retina. On further diagnosis with scanning found cancer on the tonsils left side . Don t know the type until it s removed for pathology. Plan of treatment for the malignant melanoma in the eye is radiation seeds . Surgery planned for removal of tonsils . First diagnosed with a detached retina approximately six weeks ago . This person is a smoker and consumes alcohol . 58 yrs of age. My understanding prognosis and treatment would be determined by what the pathology indicates from the tonsils. Please advise prognosis treatment and options available. Thank you , YYYY@YYYY

it is only surgical excision and chemotherapy. consult onchologist for examination and advise on treatment. prognosis is bad. may be total enucleation of eye is requered.

how you know that it is malignant have you got biopsy report. consult onchologist and take advise for management.
