Suggest Treatment For Microadenoma Pituitary Tumour
I have a microadenoma pituitary tumour. My last MRI noted it was smaller than the previous 6 months. My neurologist is very concerned that I am taking Hormone Replacement Therapy. I am 70 years old, feel wonderful except when I go off my hormones (Last time was 6 months of hell). Any suggestions?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. If you have pituitary microadenoma then no surgery is required. Just hormone therapy is adequate. If you pituitary adenoma increase in size and causes pressure effects then surgery is needed. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
