Hi, hearing loss due to perforation of ear drum is a natural thing to happen in most of the cases. The perforation may or may not spontaneously heal depending upon the size and site of perforation. As your ear is dry and the hearing is decreasing, you need to see and ENT to get ear examined. A persistent perforation, marginal or attic perforation or attico-antral disease can also be a reason where obvious discharge may not be there but a smouldering infection inside is there. Some sequel of persistent perforation can also there like adhesive changes. Please see an ENT for examination and an audiometry to know the type of hearing loss, conductive or sensori-neural, so that it can be managed accordingly. Regards
