Suggest Treatment For Mild Ischemia

I was just diagnosed with mild ischemia in the anterior front bottom feed heart muscle. I teach at a college and carry a heavy load of materials in a briefcase plus walk a good distance to classes. I have an appt. to prepare for an angiogram next week. Should I be concerned about going to work?

Hi,

Until the angiography is done ill suggest you to not do overexertion because the ischemia can precipitate by the exertion of any sort.
After the results of angiography is out then we can decide what is the further course of action.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameer Maheshwari, Cardiologist
