Suggest Treatment For Mild Pain In The Lower Right Abdomen
Hello, My 15 year old daughter is having moderate sharp stabbing pain in her lower right abdomen, she vomited one time yesterday morning, appetite is normal, heating pad and changing position seem to help. She thought it was related to her period but I m not so sure. I m a little concerned it could be her appendix. How do I know if she should be checked out by a doctor? Does it sound like appendicitis?
Yes, the possibility of appendicitis or small bowel Infection or cholecystitis or gastritis etcetera. Until the examination, is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your surgeon he will examine and do a scan for the abdomen and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
