Suggest Treatment For Moderate Lower Abdominal Pain And Intermittent Sharp Pain That Radiates Towards The Pubis Apart From Delayed Periods
I am 46. My period is late by 33 days. For the past 3 days I have had moderate lower abdominal pain that becomes sharp at times and even feels like it shoots down my vaginal region. But yet part of me wonders if I have an intestinal something. I just cant tell where it s all coming from
Since you are 46 years old, it may be perimenopausal symptoms. Since your detailed history is not available as for menstrual history, anything related to intestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, loose or hard stool and bloating. Consult your Doctor asap.
Clinical examination, detailed history and the investigations as per the findings will help you the most to get a correct diagnosis. Get an Ultrasound of the whole abdomen done, X-ray of abdomen in standing position to see for an intestinal problems. All these things will help to get a correct diagnosis and thus proper management. Do not try anything at home.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
