Suggest Treatment For Muffled Hearing In Ear

Hello, I went to the dentist this past Friday to get cavities filled, and the doc gave me wayyy to much Novocain (in my opinion). I was numb all the way past the top of my ear. I have never been given this much novacane before. When I woke up the next morning, my hearing was muffled and it feels like there is water in my ear. I can hear myself in my head. I can clean out the fluid with a Q-Tip, but minutes later, the feeling is back again. Should I be worried? Is there a fix?

hello, thanks for your query, ear block could be due to wax impaction, et tube( tube connecting ear and nose)dysfunction or injury to ear drum. it can be ruled after Ent consultation. don't pour water , the infection may worsen. kindly visit an ent surgeon. all the best. take care.
