Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The muscles in my legs are constantly painful. Also the long muscle on the right side of my back. I have had a blood test to test for Polymyalgia with negative results. Is there any other possible causes I should investigate. My thighs ach to the point of inability to move for a few minutes after rising from a car or chair. They feel like they are paralyzed
Hi I think the problem is in spine..get the x ray of lower spine done to see the prolapse disc compressing the nerve root supplying the muscles of leg which causes pain. For it you need to take mild analgesic with short wave diathermy back extension exercise and avoid forward bending and weight lifting. Along with this lumbar traction should be taken. If pain does not subside get an mri spine done. Plz consult your orthopaedic surgeon. Get well soon. Thank you.
