Suggest Treatment For Nausea After Meal

I went to get some food. At the place I got served I saw the man serving me the ice cream smelling it first, giving me the thought that something was wrong with it. I also ordered a hamburger. Ice cream tasted a little weird, so only ate half and then ate the burger. Burger seemed ok. When I finished I felt stuffed and got a little nausea. Now 2 hours later I am still feeling sick. I am wondering if it is better to try and throw up so the food doesnt go through my system. Should I try that?

Hi,

I would advise you to keep eye on whether there are any loose motions, blood in stools, pain abdomen and fever.

If any of these symptoms develop then it is advised to use oral rehydration salt and antibiotics (not with only loose motions).

Otherwise so far nothing to worry about, you may take antiemetics like dimenhydrinate. Do consult your doctor before taking any medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
