Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Stomach Pain

Hi, I ve been waking up every morning at 3 a.m feeling nauseous and have bad stomach pains. This has been recurring for the past 6 months now. This is making it really hard to find a job. I went into the doctors maybe 4 months ago and they took multiple blood tests, urine tests and even an Ultra Sound and nothing came up. The doctor gave me acid reflex pills but they really didn t help I still woke up in the middle of the night vomiting. I really need some advice, this is leaving me empty and in pain.

Waking up in the night with abdominal pain could be a sign of an ulcer. I would make sure that you are not drinking alcohol or taking aspirin or antiinflammatory drugs. i would check your blood for h. pylori bacteria which can cause ulcers. I would prescribe a PPI like prilosec twice daily. If all of this doesn't help I would schedule you for an upper endoscopy to see if there is something being missed
