Suggest Treatment For No Movement And Painful Big Toe After Injury

hello,

After having an x-ray I was diagnosed by an orthopedist with a fractured sesamoid bone in my left toe and it has arthritis, so the injury happened awhile ago. the sesamoid bone looks like it is located between my big toe and middle toe. I got a cortisone shot and am now wearing Dansko shoes. Big toe is limited to movement and is painful when I move it to the side. What is next step if the pain does not calm down. How long should I wait before seeing the MD again? I am taking Relafen and stretching my left calf muscle. thank you.
